the Lord This prophecy is couched in the {ambiguous terms} in which the heathen oracles were delivered. It may mean, either `The Lord will deliver it (Ramoth Gilead) into the king's (Ahab's) hand;' or, `The Lord will deliver (Israel) into the king's (of Syria) hand.'
