Exodus 12:34
<< Exodus 12:34 >>
So the people took their dough before it was leavened, with their kneading bowls bound up in the clothes on their shoulders. (NASB ©1995)

Exodus 12:39 They baked the dough which they had brought out of Egypt into cakes of unleavened bread. For it had not become leavened, since they were driven out of Egypt and could not delay, nor had they prepared any provisions for themselves. (NASB ©1995)

And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.

kneading trough. or dough Ex 8:3

Probably like the kneading-trough of the Arabs; comparatively small wooden bowls, which also serve them for dishes. Their being bound up in their clothes may mean no more than their being wrapped up in their hykes, or long, loose, garments.
