Aholibamah. i.e., tent of the high place 2,5,14,18,25 1Ch 1:52

(1) A Hittite woman of Mount Hor. She was one of the three wives of Esau, and in Ge 26:34 is called Judith. Ge 36:2, 5, 14, 18, 25. 26:34

(2) A chief that sprang from Esau, 1 Ch 1:52. 36:41

Elah. i.e., an oak 1 Ch 1:52 1Sa 17:2,19 21:10 1Ki 16:6,8,13,14 2Ki 15:30 17:1 18:1,9 1Ch 4:15 9:8

(1) A duke (or chief) of Edom, Ge 36:41; 1 Ch 1:52.

(2) A valley in Judah where Saul's army encamped when David slew Goliath, 1 Sa 17:2. 1Sa 21:9

(3) Father of one of Solomon's officers. 1Ki 4:18

(4) Son of Baasha, king of Israel, 1 Ki 16:6, 8.

(5) Father of Hoshea, 2 Ki 15:30; 18:1.

(6) A son of Caleb, 1 Ch 4:15.

(7) An Israelite whose family dwelt in Jerusalem, 1 Ch 9:8. Perhaps the same as number 3.

Pinon. i.e., perplexity, distraction 1 Ch 1:52.
