Neither did Zebulun drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, nor the inhabitants of Nahalol; but the Canaanites dwelt among them, and became tributaries.

Kitron. The Talmudists say Kitron is 'tzippor,' that is, Sepphoris, or Diocaesarea, a celebrated city of Galilee, now the village Safoury, situated in the plain of Esdraelon, twenty miles north-west from Tiberias, according to Benjamin of Tudela. Nahalol Jos 19:15
