Exodus 29:12 "You shall take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger; and you shall pour out all the blood at the base of the altar.

The beginning of this verse may be rendered, `And Moses slew it, and took the blood,' etc. We find it expressly said in Exodus, that Moses slew the sacrifices. Ex 29:11

Yet, in general, the offerer seems to have killed his own sacrifice.
