Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

the ravens. The raven is a species of the corvus, or crow tribe, of the order Picae, known by its large size, its plumage being of a bluish black, and tail roundish at the end. It was probably selected by our Lord as being unclean.
