Behold Beholding Clear Converted Fear Forgiven Forgiveness Haply Hearing Indeed Lest Listen Otherwise Pardoned Perceive Perceiving Perchance Perhaps Return Seeing Sense Sins That'seeing Turn Understand Understanding

That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

That seeing. Rather, as [hina] frequently denotes, 'So that seeing they see, and do not perceive, and hearing they hear, and do not understand,' etc. The expression appears to be proverbial; and relates to those who might see what they now overlook through inattention and folly.
