Matthew 15:32 And Jesus called His disciples to Him, and said, "I feel compassion for the people, because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way."

Mark 6:34 When Jesus went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things. (NASB ©1995)

In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them,

1 Christ feeds the people miraculously;
10 refuses to give a sign to the Pharisees;
14 admonishes his disciples to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod;
22 gives a blind man his sight;
27 acknowledges that he is the Christ who should suffer and rise again;
34 and exhorts to patience in persecution for the profession of the gospel.
