A Psalm. This Psalm is almost word for word the same as the five last verses of Psalm 40; and it is written as a part of the succeeding Psalm in about 27 MSS. Both Psalms evidently appear to have been written by David during the rebellion of Absalom, and probably at the crisis when he heard of the sanguinary counsel which Ahithophel had given respecting him; or, as some suppose, when beyond Jordan. 2Sa 17:1-21 to bring Ps 38:1 O God Ps 40:13 69:18 71:12 143:7 to help me [heb.] to my help Concordance Entries Bring Cause Chief Choirmaster David Deliver Gt Haste Hasten Hurry Leader Lt Memorial Memory Music Musician Music-maker O Offering Overseer Petition Pleased Psalm Quickly Remember Remembrance Reminder Salvation Save Jump to Previous Occurrence Cause Chief Choirmaster David Deliver Director HASTE Hasten Help Hurry Leader Memorial Memory&Gt Music Musician Music-Maker Offering Overseer Petition Pleased Psalm Quickly Remember Remembrance Reminder Salvation Jump to Next Occurrence Cause Chief Choirmaster David Deliver Director HASTE Hasten Help Hurry Leader Memorial Memory&Gt Music Musician Music-Maker Offering Overseer Petition Pleased Psalm Quickly Remember Remembrance Reminder Salvation New American Standard Bible Copyright © 1960, 1962, 1963, 1968, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1977, 1995 by The Lockman Foundation, La Habra, Calif.
